STRAC

STRAC (Short Term Rent Assistance with Case Management) is a program with ongoing case management that provides limited housing assistance (up to 12 months) to households in Warren County that are experiencing homelessness, precarious housing or risk of homelessness.

STRAC can provide:

  • Eviction prevention: Assisting households in danger of eviction to maintain the housing they have.
  • Housing placement assistance: Helping households obtain safe, affordable, habitable permanent housing.

Assistance can include rent or mortgage payment, deposits and application fees, move-in costs, and support services.

To Apply for STRAC Funded Assistance

  • Applicant(s) must either be facing eviction (court date within 30 days) or experiencing homelessness.
  • All applicants must meet with a HOTEL INC case manager for an intake and VI-SPDAT assessment. If the VI-SPDAT has been administered by a community agency within the past 6 months the HOTEL INC case manager will need to have access to the assessment.
